Directions Going to School
There is an international airport in Surabaya welcoming direct flights from Europe, Singapore and Hong Kong, although more available and inexpensive flights go to Jakarta. From Jakarta, many airlines run inexpensive flights directly to Surabaya, offering breathtaking views of Indonesia’s landscape. These flights cost less than 50 USD one way. Buses and trains do run from Jakarta to Surabaya, and the twelve-hour ride will cost approximately 10 USD. The train station is just outside of the center of Surabaya.
