While I know my classroom in Korea will consist of secondary school-age students who are all native Korean speakers, this lesson equipped me with knowledge to handle different contingencies further in my teaching career. Adult learners, particularly those studying business English, can present a few significant differences to the challenge of teaching and maintaining a class. This unit explained tools, such as a needs analysis, to help better understand these types of classes as a teacher, and offered further insights as to the types of students that often make up either multilingual or business english classes.
